Cranes and pine trees are both popular subjects in Chinese paintings. They are often depicted together to symbolise longevity. Our crane top is in a relaxed and roomy shape with good drape. Simple but poetic.

The crane also features in a legend about the origins of the Lantern Festival (also known as Chap Goh Meh or 元宵节 Yúan Xīao Jíe).

Fit Suggestion:

This is meant to be a loose, drapey blouse.
I would pick a size that is around 10 inches bigger than my actual chest measurement.
Please also check that the neckline and length are fine for you as well, when deciding on the size to pick.

Fabric:

Front: 100% light weight cotton
Back: 100% light weight linen
Will shrink ~2% after washing.

Care Instructions:

Machine wash separately the first few times as there could be slight colour runs initially.
Subsequently, machine wash using “Delicates” mode, in a protective mesh bag.
Do not soak, as the residual black dye from the back panel may stain the lighter front panels.
Iron at “Cotton” or a high setting.
