As a clumsy person prone to liquid spills on a plane, I like to wear sportswear that is water repellent and stretchable when I fly. I always wished that I could get hold of the high tech fabrics used by elite sportswear brands so that I could make cheongsams with them — cheongsams that allow the wearer to move with ease, is water repellent, dries quickly, and doesn’t require ironing. I’m glad I stuck it out until now, and these fabrics are finally available to small makers like me :-) I tested this dress on a trip to Siem Reap this summer and I’m happy with its performance. Yay!
